I've searched and came up with 2 answers.
Are the motors, interference or not
I'm at 211k kms, I changed it at 100k and looking to change it again.

they are non interference motors.

Correct. Now, depending on if you're running some INSANE cams or not, that may change...

thanks guys, i think i'm just gonna do it, it's better than the alternative if I dont. I just wish i had the time, garage, and tools to do it myself.

I need to do the one on my car. I've done about 3 other Proteges but now I'm due. I think my car has just under 70k miles.

They are only due every 100k miles. But I only have 45k so I don't have to worry about it.
