starter wont engage

so im installing the corksport motor mounts front and rear im reinstalling the rear and now when i try to start the car all the lights in the dash go off like they should but the starter wont engage i dont know if i knocked something loose or blew a fuse or what im going back to my friends place to work on it now so what do you guys think

This has happened to me when I removed the battery to gain more space for rear motor mount install. What I did is after hooking the battery back up I closed all the doors and turned on the alarm and then I turned off the alarm. I hopped back in my MSP and it started right up.

i dident unhook the battery though but i got it running must have just been a loose connection i messed with the wires and she started right up thanks though now i know what to do if it doesent start after disconnecting the battery
