View Full Version : Camber KIT! do i need it??

Hi friends, i just picked up some progress lowering springs for my msp. the drop is 1.5 in. Do i need a camber kit or will it be ok? any threads on how to put these puppys on? Any help is much appreciated (cheers)

not for such a small drop. But you see our struts are conveniently set up in a way that there are 2 bolts at the bottom. To adjust your camber just use a smaller bolt and pivot your strut. Thats what most shops would do if you brought it for alignment.

i'd get it anyways. put the car on an alignment rack and see if it's out of whack or not. the factory bolts barely adjust the car back into spec, maybe up to .3 of a degree.

Thats why you get bolts with a smaller diameter so you can go more haha. Why would you spend a couple hundred dollars on a "Camber Kit" when you can just buy a 2 dollar bolt that does the same thing. Unless you just want the look of fancy colorful camber adjustors.
