I have a 2002 mazda protege5 auto. I checked the spcs and found that the p5 and the p speed was the same spcs so I put a turbo on it no internal upgrades no boost controller just a t3/t4 turbo and exhaust Im having probles making it run right im sure there is more thing to do. Do I have to upgrade my ecu or injectors what is the compression ratio between my car and the speed. I asked about getting it tuned they said I need a safc but with my car the map sensor dont always listen to the ecu so what is it that I have to do please help me thank you

there are plenty of threads on here that cover everything you need to do to turbo your P5. lots of PPl have done it. I would put in a search for that. It's a good place to start. Plus it will be a great reference tool for ya too.

you have an auto tranny? you need a way of adding fuel once you go into boost or you'll blow you engine...i'm running a begi rising rate fuel pressure regulator and a flying miata voltage clamp to trick the stock ecu into thinking everything is normal....by the way this should be moved to the FI section i believe? pm me with any questions..
