if the old mazda6 has a 2.5L engine. does that mean you can take there cold intake and put it in the new mazda3 2.5L?

Most likely not...because they are on different chassis then the position of the engine is most likely very different and so will the piping for an intake...

they arent the same 2.5

edit: the old 6 didnt have a 2.5. its the new 6 that has it, and like he said, it probably isnt the same pipe routing.

as the others have said, there will probably be different routing. The speed 6 and speed 3 share the same engine but don't share the same intake

Just checked with the dealer. They are different and will not fit.
