blown! need help

so my buddie has a 03 mazdaspeed protege that the motor died of oil starvation. we are trying to figure out what cars have the same motor to replace the blown motor to make it drive. ive been reading and that the 626 and the regular protege's had the same motor. can anyone help us figure out if i am right or what other options we have? thank you!

and 2.0L protege motor works, aka protege ES and Protege5, but u would need the Main Bearing Support Plate for the turbo oilline return feed which can be bought here:
