so my step dad just bought some pulstar plugs from the states for 25$ a plug. he read in his popular mechanics magazine that they are suppose to add 10% more power and 5-10% better mpg. for that price they would be the best mod ever.

im a little uneasy since ive never heard of these, and i figured if they were as good as they claim they are i would have at least heard of them on the forum somewhere.

anyone ever heard of these things?
and hes installing them tomorrow so ill let u guys kno how they go.

No clue about Pulsar, seems like there are alot of snake oil marketing going on in the spark plug world these days. Only one way to tell, install them, and see what happens. Just check your gap first.

I have had them in my MSP6 for about half of a year now.

Made no noticable difference.

Not worth it. Get yourself a set of Densos instead.

I can sell you some iridium fluid if you think your car will run better too...(ricer)

Same goes for the Bosch Platinum +4. Too expensive, usually do nothing good for the cars.

I forget which one, but I read in a tuner mag that iridium plugs do actually spark better and gave ~2.5 - 3 hp and ~1 ft/lb gains.
