how bad would it be just to go open turbo for a few days? lol

what do you mean open turbo? with no exhaust bolted up the the turbo? it would spool CRAZY fast and would be loud as hell. i dont really see where i could be good for the turbo or the motor. if i were you i would just unbolt it from the J pipe if you were wanting to unbolt it somewhere. and on a side note inorder to take off the S pipe (to run a open turbo) you have to take the turbo, manifold, and s pipe out to even get to the bolts to remove the S pipe, save your time and just run a open down pipe, so unbolt the Midpipe from the J pipe. I run a 2.5 inch cutout and its loud as hell but not as loud as a unbolted J pipe is.

well i already have a catless midpipe that also replces the j pipe and it has a cut out already. i was just wonderinf if i could do it cause i want to get my s pipe bored out.

I personally wouldnt do it. It just doesnt sound like a good idea. crazy spool with a turbo that already spools too fast and all of that heat just under the engine bay with no where to go dont really turn me on either. If you were me Id buy a dremle and just do it over a weekend where you didnt have to drive the car without the exhaust OR just buy a CS S pipe.
if you wanted one bad i have one i would sell.

the CS is just a stock replacment. not a "true" downpipe.

not a true downpipe? its bigger than the stock one, it dose bolt to the stock locations but the inside diameter is larger!

LOL why would people pay 350 dollars for somthing that is the same as stock???? who told you that? they need to look into what they are saying. the CS is BIGGER than the stock exhaust, that is why people upgrade to it. the stock S pipe is 2.0 the CS S pipe is like 2.4 or somthing and the J pipe is 2.5. lol that was funny, im not trying to be a dick but why would people buy somthing that is exactly the same as stock?

I'm not trying to be a dick either but, it drives me nuts when people state completely incorrect shit. Then some newb reads it during a search and thinks that it's true.

its def. bigger lol

the stock on is tiny and the CS is not huge but you can def. tell a nice difference. Not the most fun thing install though.

I have one i could sale. i would sell you just the S pipe if you wanted. its been broke but it was rewelded. (the only way you can even tell is because its shinny where they preped the metal). it looks perfect other than the extra weld.
