So, after taking my car on a few spirited canyon runs in the past months, I've realized possible benefits of a quicker steering rack. Supposedly the MP3 rack is quicker than ours, but does anyone have the exact ratio from a credible source? I can't seem to find any numbers. Everyone just says it's quicker. Has anyone swapped it in and can verify the difference?

I've had 2 mp3s and now an msp and I didn't notice a difference in the rack. The biggest difference has come from the tires. If you get something with a nice stiff sidewall it will make all the difference in the world. The Avon Tech M500s felt awesome, the Toyo Proxy FZ4s I have now are pretty good, and the Kuhmos Ecsta ASXs sucked. If you don't feel like buy rubber (pr don't need to) try running very high pressures. In some cases I have autocrossed with pressures as high as 50 psi in each corner. Soft sidewalls kill the feel of the steering and also roll over.

I'm not complaining about the steering feel in my car, I just want fewer turns lock-to-lock.
