I have some really bad squeaking coming from the rear, I am almost positive it is the bushings because it sounds the same as the front did when I needed new bushings but I am being paranoid and want to make sure. It only squeaks when coming to a stop, going around a pretty good curve, and turning onto a road. Is that bad bushings on the rear swaybar or is that springs?

take some wd40 and spray the bushings if it continues than it is the springs.
i spray my bushings with wd40 every 6 months and they never sqeak.

I am having pretty much the same problem. I am pretty sure it is the springs everytime I sit in my car they squeak and no I am not a big guy at all, and I can hear it going over almost every bump. There has got to be a cheaper route then buying new springs atleast I hope so.

will do, If I were you i would try that now if you can. Plus I have been told it is good to spray your bushings with this stuff regularly to keep the bushings from busted.

Well I just dropped my car off at the Transmission place so that's my first concern but ya I will spray those when I get it back.

Hey mgerst1 is your problem just your rear suspension squeaking or front to? Mine is both.

So did you just replace the front and rear bushings? Also was it an easy fix?

Yeah, I think mine is just as bad. Every time I get in/out, or turn, go over speed bump, w/e...squeaks like a mofo. Guess I'll try the lithium grease this weekend. Let me know how it works for you.

In the car it sounds like it is coming from the rear only, but outside it is hard to tell but im pretty sure it is the rear only

The front isn't that easy to fix but the rear is easy i've heard

I drove the car, at first it squeaked but as i drove it it went away. so it is definately my bushings and the lithium grease i sprayed on it yesterday did the trick. If it comes back i will have to take the uclamp off the bushing and spray the whole bushing. If it comes back after that I will just replace the bushing.

it WILL come back, just when is the question and also if you'd prefer to just shoot them w/ grease every now and then to get rid of it for a temp solution, replace the bushings for a longer temp solution or get the clunk fix brackets for a permanent solution....
me, I dont mind spraying them every now and then lol its cheaper that way....
