sound is important to me so i like it like i like my music(tonge twister!), LOUD!

the hks ssqv seems to be the most popular to use on our cars. just search youtube for sound clips.

I had the HKS SSQV and now I have the GReddy Type S. In all honesty, the HKS is the best sounding and most reliable BOV on the market. My Type S is recirculated and I can't hear it AT ALL. Not a big deal really since that's kind of why I got rid of the HKS, sound was starting to get kinda ricey after a while, but a little chirp or sneeze would still be nice in between shifts. I gotta admit I miss the HKS..

I have the Turbox's bpv not to sure which one it is but i like it a lot better then the greddy rs bov that I have (dual setup). The bov is disconnected right now. Its also not very loud imo.

Ok ok, so its between the greddy and the hks. I used to LOVE the sneeze sound but the chirp is really growing onto me. Thanks for the info!

if you think the sound of a mouse sneezing is cool, get the HKS.
if you think sound of a big woosh of air is cool, go with the Greddy.

hint: go with the greddy

The only thing about the greddy is that they start to leak after a while.

hahaha i used to love the big swoosh but the mouse sneez is really getting hold of my liking.

The greddy sounds like and mean, back off before you get punished like a gwowling lion who walks past his mionions withous intention of hurting anything but will if you cross the line

hks reminds me of the "i know im faster than you but i dont really care even though my car sounds and looks sick as f**k and i drive fast all the time

... im not mean...

You really should just recirculate for the best performance. Tial, HKS, Greddy, Synapse, TurboXS are all good brands.

Is there a writeup on how to install a bov somehwere on here because don't you have to custom adapt it? Or are there hard pipes you can buy with the flange already mounted on?

get hardpipes, and weld the needed flange on it..

Does anyone sell the hardpipes with the flange already installed on it?

you can browse the F/S section periodically.

I vote for recirc and to do that go with the boostsciences rdv. I love the sound and i dont have to relocate maf, or run dual setup to avoid stalling issues

I have the TurboXS RFL join me. Come on, get ricey... HKS sounds like someone with a stuffy noise breathing through it (squeak squeak), Greddy leaks, Recirc is well, recirc... Actually, I may go back to recirc becuase there's a reason that no cars come STOCK w/ a blow through MAF, It's ALWAYS draw through. Sams right, recirc is proper...
