Hi all. I hail from between a 1st and 3rd world South Africa.
I drive a Mazda 323 I think you know it as a Mazda Familia. I fitted a Import Fe3n 2.0l16v.Works like a dream and the fitment is standard.
My problem however is that there was a time 89 to 94 when these motors came out in South Africa. The local motor was stronger. The only difference was the Intake manifold and the Throttle body. Both throttles were the same size and the butterfly’s to, however the local had a progressive type opening of the butterfly’s and the import opens up bothe butterfly’s at the same time.
My question is can anybody explain to me which one of the to will yield a better performance on a naturally aspirated motor? I have searched plenty forums and the net but to no avail and I am really frustrated by this! Please I need help (huh)(huh)
