Just ordered H&R lowering springs for the 9. Since there is NO application specifically for the 9, I order the ones for the Edge. Will post pics when I get them installed in the coming week(s).

They come with replacement bump stops?

dunno... usually cut the oem ones in half or live with the fact that you have 1.75" less suspension travel.

Do before and afters, both handling tests, and photos. I'm just not convinced it's worth it.

Of course... Will give a full honest review when I am done.

Please just lie and say they're better. :)

Theoritically, they should be at least be on par with OEM ride comfort and performance. The Edge AWD is a couple hundred pounds less than a AWD CX-9. Given the fact that H&R and Eibachs are supposedly 10-15% stiffer than OEM springs, that should bring us on par with the OEM springs of the 9 if they are in fact different from the Edge in terms of spring rates

Prolly DIY. I figured, if I am dropping a few hundred for labor, I might as well get some tools out of it :)

hurry up and put em on, I can't wait to hear what you think. My wife will be so pissed, we just traded in our dropped Denali for a CX-9 and she asked me if would be doing anything to this vehicle.......uh yes!

It's an upright 33 gallon. Takes up a lot less room than you think.

I know. I assumed it was an upright. I just have no room for it. I have a little 12gal tucked under my shelves.

I'm still dreaming of owning a compressor and of having the need for one.

Sorry to bring an old thread back but I was wondering if there's any pics after he installed the springs.
