I say get the Vibrant. That's what I have and I love it. It's not a true turbo-back though, it bolts onto the s-pipe.

eww please don't get the magnaflow. i have a magnaflow muffler on mine and it drones so bad. also the vibrant is not a turboback. it's a j-pipe back. if you want turboback you have to get the GHL or find a used ION.

bah he beat me.

really the magnaflow drones out bad eh...well thats good news about the vibrant how does it sound because, when i picked up the car the guy who owned it b4 me just had a welded vibrant muffler on the stock piping so i had a local muffler shop take it off it didnt do anything.. lol

Get the Vibrant. Or get a shop to make you a 3" turboback, going to cost alot of $$$$$ but its worth it.

Get a Perrin, no cat. Unless you like to hug trees that is... It's stupid loud though, hope you don't like music...

definitely search the forums. everyone is going to recommend something different. there are so many deciding factors... cost, completeness, loudness, fitment, etc.

check out:

vibrant
GHL
perrin
corksport

i have the vibrant, if you have any questions just let me know.

Yikes. NY is a pain in the ass for most everything, except no emissions, go figure. Sometimes no visual inspection of the undercarriage either.

these are the two most complete systems available still for the msp

http://siteground207.com/~protegeg/product_info.php?cPath=32_166&products_id=1378

get this down pipe to complete either as a true "turbo back"

Get. The. Vibrant. TBE.

It comes with a cat and it doesn't have a ricey exhaust note at all. It's a smooth, deep rumble at idle and has a nice roll under load. Magnaflow drones like a mofo and Corksport doesn't come with a cat. Good luck finding a decently-priced Perrin or a GHL exhaust.

The Vibrant also looks dead sexy. :)

I will add to the suggestions for Vibrant, I've driven with both CS and Vibrant, (didn't have the CS on there for that long, because i needed the cat for emissions when I registered it, and didn't want to deal with the CEL fix thing), but I love the vibrant, they both sound similar, I'd say the vibrant is a little deeper/louder but not by much, you can always put the silencer in, but if you can get a hold of a CS "S" pipe that would really be the best with the vibrant IMO... it is worth the money

there was a thread just like this if I remember 2 weeks ago, but everyone needs personal responses I guess, good to get feedback

-oh also if you do actually order the vibrant, make sure they send you all of the bolts and gaskets, along with the O2 extender, I didn't use the O2 extender anyways, but they had forgot to send me 1 of the gaskets and bolts along with the extender they said they would send with the exhaust, so I just had to call them up to explain and have them send it, I know a couple other people had similar situations back when I had a thread about this.. just an fyi

I've had both. That magnaflow was on my car when I bought it. I hated it. No gain what so ever. Car was still competely silent. A pointless buy it would be.

I ditched it for my Vibrant turboback, and never looked back.

A year after I got my turboback I modified it with a Virbant Flat Black Muffler. My taste changed a bit, but I still love my exhaust.

Could you post a pic of the back of your car with the muffler that you use now? :)
