View Full Version : Volt meter is getting some wierd readings...

usually it will rest at 14 at idle but now it is sitting at 13.5 sometimes 13. the a/c wasnt on or anything. Also not sure if this has to do with it but my driver side techone HID just flickered out. i did a real quick look over of the wiring and everything looks good still. anybody know what this could be? i was thinking it might be the start of a bad alternater but i'm not sure...

Probably the bad HID causing it. I had my IAT sensor die back in January and it sucked enough power to cause my voltmeter to only read 13.5V

alright well i am going to swap the bulbs out and see if it is in fact the bulb that is causing it
