I live in Tulsa and I just picked up an 02 Canadian model Midnight Blue. Has 76xxx kilometers on it and not TOO much rust!!! I've been wanting a P5 since back in '02 when I was a senior in high school without enough credit to get a new one from our local dealership. I sold my '07 Mazda 3 hatch a couple weeks ago and grabbed this P5 from a dealer in Texas!
So far, I have cleaned, cleaned, de-rusted, painted, cleaned and de-rusted some more. I love the car though, its a ton of fun. I'm sure that in the future I'll have a ton of questions for everyone here (as I had for the forums for my 98 240SX, Acura Legend, Suzuki SV650, and my 3). But for right now I've only got one. My car is a manual and I haven't had it up on the highway too much until today. I was wondering if it was normal to have the car be hovering at around 3,500 - 3,600 rpms? Seemed a little high to me, but that may just be me coming from my 3 that was an auto.
Let me know if you have any input!
Nate
Oh, and I'll post some pics shortly.

Killer, thats all I really needed to know. I live in Oklahoma and half of the damn state is turnpike, so limit is 75 but most people run between 80-85 a good majority of the time. Its my DD so I don't actually have to be on highway too much, just happened to be yesterday and thought I'd ask.
Thanks
Nate

Kidding... She's dirty as hell, but that's just part and parcel to the fact that I haven't stopped driving since I bought the car! I cleaned up the rims, cleaned up the calipers and got a coat of paint on them, and soon will begin replacing undercarriage components that are too rusty to salvage.
That being said, anyone have an oil pan (is this a running gag that I don't yet get, cause I see people looking for these all the time), or front and rear stabilizer bars? Mine are not long for this world.

i think it's funny your speedo is in km/h......you're eyes are gonna be pissy watching that inner circle
edit: at least you can brag about cruising at 100 or 120

I gots glasses :) Makes it easier.
But really it only took like a day to adjust to. The fact that its a Canadian car happened by accident, the dealer I bought it from didn't even know.

I've seen the fairy... moderately creepy... but I lurked and read for long enough to get used to it.
Oh yeah! Update! I had to replace my first headlight bulb! I'm well on my way now. From what I read these are a bit hard on headlights, its ok though, I came from a 98 240SX and that thing burned them about every 3 months or 3000 miles :) I got to the point that I just planned to change the oil and the bulbs at the same time.
