sooo my squeaky suspension all the way around could be...bushings? Idk, but what really bugs me is the LOUD thumping coming from the rear passenger strut area. My trunk is completely empty, like no carpet even, so idk if that makes the sound louder, but i cant figure out what it is. I wiggle the swaybar and cant find any area that thumps. Tomorrow my buddy is gonna ride in the back with the seats folded down and try to help pinpoint the sound. In the meantime any suggestions would b great! Could be the simple "swaybar clunk" and to fix it do i need just the awr bracket or bushings if so?

thanks guys!

same here. its like boiling water(rattle) @ low speed. checked everything under, looks ok. sway bar is tight, end links are, struts have no leaks. even checked muffler and gas tank clamps. everything is tight. what could it be?

Check your strut mount, have to take off the rear deck. Mine broke once and the strut was resting the whole weight of the car on the seat belt bracket very dangerous.

It's that sound the infamous "Clunk"? I have it!!! All MSP's get it!! It's another one of the poor mazda designs on this car. Get the Clunk fix bracket from Evolv

I have the same problem, except I just put the clunk fix bracket on yesterday and it almost seemed to make the clunk worse. I was thinking it was the strut mount but haven't been able to check it yet.

Did i read right in MSP4G63's post that the rear deck has to come off to get to the strut mounts?

yes you will have to take off the rear deck. also remove the bolt holding the seat belt.
