Hi,
Does TPMS comes standard on the 08 GT? When I turn the ignition start to II, I do see the icon for TPMS lighting up and goes away. But I don't recall it being mentioned on the window sticker or the sales guy telling me about it.

All CX9's have it.

I thought TPMS is federal standard now. All vehicles need to have it (after the Explorer/Firestone problem). I might be wrong about this.
Yes, all CX9s have TPMS. It activates between 20-25psi or when one of the tires has much lower pressure compared to others.

Probably soon. All vehicles will be required to have stability control, too.

Starting from 2008 - it is standard.
"The Transportation Recall Enhancement, Accountability, and Documentation (TREAD) Act, in the United States under the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 138 requires a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to be installed in all 2008 model year passenger cars, multipurpose passenger vehicles and light trucks."
