Just took a trip down to florida from jersey and my power steering went. My belt must of broke so I brought it to a shop and got a bunch of things done to the car, but they said my rear left caliper is gone it is constantly braking... Since the left one went they also need to replace the right one so the total just for the calipers and new brakes is around 800 bucks. There saying the only calipers they can find are 280 a piece, I found ones on the internet for 44 bucks http://www.racepages.com/products/?N=11921+11062+1667+4294964672+4294966976+2252
Should I let them get the 280 ones or order these, need some input also how what the hell would cause the calipers to go like that?

fuck them. they overprice shit. go to your local napa, oreilys, advance, or w/e parts place and get your calipers for cheap. remanned units are fine.
what they did, was mark up their price like 300%.. shops are known for that shit.

I believe the rear are also from a 626 like the fronts, just a different color. I bought my fronts new at pepboys for $50. and they were in stock fit like a charm. they were just another color which didn't matter to me cause I painted them Orange. The MSP ones were like double the price
I may be wrong about the rears but for a fact the Fronts are from a v6 626. search the forum a little about the rears
