Hello to all at PG!

Im just about to place an order for lowering springs for my MS3. I'm torn between the Eibach kit and the Cobbs. I autoXed a couple of times now, and I plan to continue this season. I also plan to enter in a couple of NASA HPDE events this summer. The shocks have 13xxx miles now, and the seem to be holding up pretty well.

I have thought about the BC coils or the MS set as well, but I do think that it might be a bit of overkill for a car that is my DD. Ive never had coils on any car that ive owned before. Would you wait till these shocks go bad and then switch out for the coilovers?

Any suggestions? Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

either set of the eibachs or cobbs will provide a good drop without taxing the factory struts. you would do well with either, and i have several sets of eibachs in stock i could do a deal on for you.

if you do swaybars and springs, your track requirements should be met while keeping the car a solid daily driver with good ride quality. you could definetely try the springs out and go to something more aggressive like coilovers once the struts need replacement
