Okay so my alarm on my car just goies off randomy all the time while in the parking lot at school. However no one ever touches it or anything like that and it just randomly goes off. I think the alarm is way overly sensitive because when it's at home in the garage it never goes off or anything like that so I think the wind is setting it off or what not. Is there anyway to turn down the sensitivity on it. It goes off like 10 million times a day in the parking lot. Also, when the alarm beeps it doesn't give a constant tone, it kind of gives like a random beep that's really loud and just keeps going off. Any help? (sad2)

EDIT: Btw It's the stock alarm.

ummm I can't remember where it is, but there is a sensitivity dial that you can turn down. Let me search real quick and try to find it for ya.

check underneath your dash. There should be a module there that says mazda on it and it should have a knob or dial for sensitivity. Just feel around. I think that the alarm is set on maximum sensitivity from the factory so you just need to turn it down.

Your battery is about to die. The alarm brainis under the steering wheel, if you have your head under the dash and look straigh up. It says mazda on the box and right next to it there is the adjuster.

Alright so I've read about this problem everywhere. Everywhere says that there is that black box with 3 plugs going into it right under the dash and above the pedals. I have found that box and have searched everywhere for this dial or knob but don't see it anywhere. I;ve looked everywhere under there for a knob or dial or anything and I can't find it. I have an 03 MSP btw if that matters not 03.5

Yeah but it literally does go off a million times a day, I unplugged the shock sensor on the alarm module to see if that will solve anything because I don't think anyone will be breaking in. However, anyone know where sensitivity knob is?

Eh, it's still nice to come with. My car doesn't even have any alarm besides the passive blinky light.
