is this a stock or aftermarket feature? i bought this car from a salvage yard and fixed it, so i wouldn't know if the previous owner did this.
The pictures of the interior are attached!

The Mazda emblem on the back seat isn't standard either.
Looks good!

I think it would look even better if it was in the seat itself, not the headrest. Also, the one on the back seat the logo is a little much. Cool idea though!

This is fucking amazing.

HOW is this done!?!? Is it somehow branded into the leather; or stitched, or printed?

I think I would have scratched the mazda logo in the back out...but MAZDASPEED on the headrests looks AWESOME!!!

The covers are removed then embroidered, than put back on and restitched closed. It's much easier on the headrests than seats as it's easier to remove the cover off the headrest than the whole seat. Any custom upholstery shop could do it for you. I had it done on the headrests of my old honda, cost was roughly $80 for the 2 headrests. Not sure about the rear "m" logo...that may have been a little more difficult.

I actually think this would look better in a black leather/cloth interior. Put it on the headrests or right below the headrest and it would really set it off.

And use a white or red stitching?

Silver stitching to match the seams.

I was thinking of doing this, but just on the fronts, and on the seats, not the headrests. The first shop I went to wanted $200, and their shop was really dirty. Then I remembered my dad had a friend who was the interior guy for a couple of Hot Rod Magazine's Car of the Year cars. Haven't had a chance to speak to him yet...
