i finally found a barley used 2008 ms3 gt. car only has 3500 miles on it. they are asking 20,999 for it. and i was hoping to get it for a little cheaper. talked with a different dealer today on a 09, with 7k miles for 21k. and that was the lowest they would go. so im hoping the 08 i can get for a little cheaper than what they are asking. how much lower do you think they will go on the 08. and how much do you think i should offer them. or pay.

If you don't care about what the GT offers, you can get a brand new Sport for that much.

thats the problem, haha i like the GT. but how low do you think i can get them to move from 20,9?

You should be able to nab one for 18-19k.

Yeah, I'd ask for $18,500 and work from there. I wouldn't pay more than $19,500. The important thing is to assign a value that you are happy paying...that you think the car is worth. Don't go over that price. If they aren't willing to work with you, walk away. There are plenty of dealerships right now who will.
