Car is an 07 MS3 GT

Well I put the silverstars in my highbeams and fogs today, quick job, actually.
While doing the driverside, little tougher. my ex calls me and I drop the lamp. *#&$^%*%^ yeah, (#^%$*, I know, #$^%, I will, (($&* bla bla bla.
while I am retrieving the lamp I find this part down in there. I know I did not break anything off, and this pieces busted area is old looking anyway

Has anyone seen this thing???

is it even part of my car??

same side, while dropping the little splash cover to do the fogs, this bolt falls out.

less concerned (not at all) about the bolt, just thought I'd share

car was never serviced anywhere other than classic mazda in orlando by first owner, and the one trip to ferman by me

nice, huh

looks like a clip form the stock airbox

Yes it is the part that connects the bottom of the stock air box to the front. There are two clips. that is the one on the right.

Hehe, I took off my bumper to put a grill in and no less than three plastic pieces fell out. I couldn't even figure out what they were for.

Thank you!!
that is the kind of info I was looking for!

So, since the car is box stock, this part has been lying there since the air filter was (poorly) serviced at the dealer.

your'e supposed to pull the nylon clip and slide the busted part outta the rubber(dissconnected from car) part or so I would aasume from context

nice, so to be truly stock, I need to get a unbusted airbox from somewhere
since I recognize that type of plastic as the ungluable kind

Stealership blues. They broke the clip to the cover (whatsit?) next to the battery. On the plus side they replaced it with no hassle after I pointed it out to them.
