Got my DashHawk today but FTW!!

I installed the disk and the software runs fine. I let it install the USB drivers twice like it says it has to and whenever I try to change setting or anything it says it's not connected. I restarted the computer and everything but still nothing. I even uninstalled and reinstalled both the software and the USB driver. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium. Anyone have any ideas?

theres some fix thing for using it with vista on the dashhawk forums.
i dont exactly remember what it calls for doing, but it helps fix the problem, go check it out.

That's not too bad. I kind of want to put it above the ashtray. I saw someone on here had it mounted there but I can't find his pic anymore. It's hard with this thing because of where the sord comes out .

I'm pretty sure I did. I did the install off the site, not the disk.
