I'm 37 and I've been playing since I was 9. Jam a little everyday to everything from Santana to Slipknot to Jimi Hendrix.
My 10yo plays guitar and hopefully i can keep my 8.5yo off my drums long enough to get him into playing bass ;)

Cool man, the bass I got is some no name thing somebody gave me. My guitar (well, my favorit one anyways) is a B.C. Rich Warlock. I don't play as much as I used to so I suck now, but I still like to pick it up every now and then and mess around.

I play guitar. I started out just doing vocals for a band then started writing songs so I picked up the guitar so I could accompany my tunes. Been playing about 12 years now and like to go to the local bars for open mic nights.

Im a Sound Technician by trade, mixing for local bands, large events/shows and my church. I went through all years of high school singing in choir as a first tenor in Concert choir, Mens Ensemble, Mens Quartet, and Chamber Choir. I love to sing, especially when its accapella. about 5 years ago, I learned something about myself, which is what turned me into a Sound Technician. I can play Keys/Piano by ear without reading music. I tough myself "My Immortal" and after about a year of practice (off and on) can play it almost perfectly. Ive since learned quite a few other songs. Being that I can distinguish sound levels of mids, lows and highs, can tune them pretty well by ear. I love being able to mix though. Lots of fun having full control.

Cool! A fellow drummer! I have been playing drums since about 1988....been in a few different bands. I play Tama drums with Sabian Cymbals. Currently in a Christian rock-n-roll outfit called Servant Mk. II. Gigs only occasionally. Ideal band would sound like The Smithereens...

Man lots of drummers around here!
Been playing almost 30yrs Pearl Sabian Zildjian and DW 5000 modified to longboards (heel toe anyone). Axis Longboads some day :)
Any of you guys heard of Avenged Sevenfold (a bit violent and screamy but awesome drummer) 24y/o just died.
I have been practicing some of their stuff and some of it is toooo fast but I love most of their music and it is taking me to a whole new level of drumming.

I play guitar and write songs for my band. I'm trying to learn recording but haven't had as much time to work on it as I'd like. I used to be really into jazz and played alto sax for about 7 years before I picked up guitar. I'd say I'm probably a better songwriter than I am a guitarist, lol.
I have a Fender Showmaster, a Fender Special Edition Custom Telecaster, a 1969 Danelectro Slimline, and a cheap Ibanez acoustic/electric. My amp is a Marshall VS2000 AVT150 half stack.
I posted these pics in another thread, but here they are again:

Been playing guitar now for about 10 years and the bass for about 8. Nothing of my own really, just a lot of classic rock and punk/ska. I'm left handed so what I can get is limited:
Guitars:
Fender American Stratocaster (tri-color sunburst)
Generic Fender Acoustic (traditional wood)
Epiphone Les Paul (cherry sunburst)
Basses:
Fender J-Bass (black)
Squire P-Bass Special (black w/ custom checkered pick guard)
Haven't really played much in the last two years due to graduating, work, getting married and buying a house :(
