Vacuum leak maybe? Have you checked all your connections?

check to ensure that MAF is installed correctly. Also did you disconnect the battery when you did this?

I honestly thought my car got slower after my CAI install. Maybe its in my head because it did tend to smooth out the power band a bit more.
One day when im bored as hell ill go to stock for a little while to see how it feels.

Mine did the same thing it's just the computer adapting. disconnecting the battery does help.

That should be fine. But take it easy on the car for 100 miles after you do that.

Even with AP you have to let things settle down for about 100 miles. Sure makes it more fun after though.

How does your car idle? Is it a rough idle? Do have a dash hawk and what are your vac/boost readings at idle?

Just installed SRI this past Sunday and have driven it all week and the car still feels a little sluggish when pressing on the gas. I'm running the Stage 1 + SF 93 octane map. I got a T-bolt where the Cobb inlet and SRI join so I really don't think there's a leak. Before the SRI I just had the Cobb Inlet and the power seemed instantaneous. I'm going to swap it out again this weekend to verify. Does anyone know the filter size for the MS3 Cobb Sri?

I just installed the Cobb TIP and SRI. Holy crap this feels like a completely different car. (Still stock ECU tuning & 93 octane.)
Also put a CPE Rear Engine Mount and a Shark fin antenna. Man, this is addicting.

I installed my SRI this morning and upgraded to Stage 1 + SF 93 octane map, drove about 100 miles already today. Im idling totally fine and what I would recommend for those that arent is to a) make sure you actually disconnected the battery and b) if you have a TIP too, make sure you didnt overtighten the clamps.

I just installed the TIP and I am going to be going to an auto x tomorrow. It is ptobable 60 miles away. Will this affect anything major by not taking it easy on it?

I drove mine for at least 150miles. Yesterday things kind of changed for the better. But what I found odd was the humidity was in the high 80's and my car felt very strong. I would of thought it would of been the opposite, but it felt great and I'm glad it did because the father-in-law wanted a ride in the car. He was surprised how much pep this car has. He has an MX5. Actually I just found out that his house & plane hanger is right across from Corky Bell's (BEGI) shop. He's going to introduce him to me when I visit them since he gotten to know him pretty well. I told the wife if that's the case we're taking my MS6 when we visit her parents. It would be great if they made mods for the Speed6, like they do the Miata and Speed3.
