Valve adjustment please help

Are valves adjustable on 97 protege with 1.5l? if so What OEM spec

On my 1.8L they are not. I dont think yours are either. Just pull the valve cover off and look. Do you have a shop manual for it? Id get one.

there are shims that can be replaced have you ever done yours? how many miles on yours and what yr?

oh its cause u have 91 they dont need to get adjusted 95 and newer need adjustment
