Does anyone make traction bars for the 03 protege? If so, who and where can we get them? Pm me if you need to.
Thanks.

Depends on what your definition of traction bars is. The common use of traction bars is for RWD vehicles to tie in with the rear axle. Not applicable to the protege.
If you are referring to what I have on the car they are wheelie bars, but unless you are building a drag car, they are not practical for street use... :)
BTW sometimes they are referred to as traction bars, cause a FWD would have a hard time doing a wheelie !!

I just want to try to control wheel hop/bounce and was thinking this would just be a decent way of keeping the wheels in position. Im not pushing alot of power , but i know i have around 250hp at the crank. Wheel hop is a dumb problem.

get the other three motor mounts, and maybe the ingalls torque dampener... maybe an lsd upgraded..

Im not really interested in all the vibration. This is a daily driver and Im trying to keep it more of a budget build. I dont want to upgrade the lsd. Great ideas, it just seems so expensive that way. The torque dampener seems like a good idea, atleast for the top end of the motor. Check out this thread.

If your mounts aren't torn...fill your stock mounts which is not nearly as bad with the vibrations.
