Turbo inlet and front mount intercooler are installed! Here is what I have noticed so far:
1. I have a weird new sound when the valve goes. Sounds kind of like when I was a kid and I would press a piece of grass between my thumbs and make it whistle...
2. Boost is way more steady. It builds a tiny bit slower, and does't peak as high as it was with the ETS top mount. That makes me feel much better about upping the boost a bit.
I still need to hook the dashhawk back up and run some temperature logs, but all in all, I love it. Took me about 4 hours to install, but it's totally worth it! it looks SICK. I would take pictures, but my car is embarrassingly dirty. I will take them soon and put them in here.

I love the look of the front mount, did ur inlet make the turbo spool sound alot louder?

Very nice, I like it.

I think it's louder, but I don't know why it would be. There are no silencers on the stock piece... probably just placebo effect.
I smile every time I look at the front of my car now :)

Means you aren't cool unless you call it stage 2.
but my guess he's referring to what Cobb has stages listed as on the accessport.

oh yeah I'm planning on eventually getting the AP. I have exhaust work to do first though. I'm planning on getting the turbo back exhaust and probably the exhaust manifold before I mess with the ECU.

would I then be considered for the ranks of "Stage 2"-ness?

I think its along the lines of knighting, you have to go to the queen and she has to stage 2 you by kneeling in front of her and she taps an exhaust pipe on your shoulders.

i love all the talk of "stage 2" crap. What are we freaking srt-4 owners here?
I think calling anything by a stage sounds lame
Great looking pics. Sweet expensive parts for the win here :)

lol yeah they weren't cheap. I am hoping since I ponied up the extra dough for Cobb stuff, they will step up to the plate on this one and replace my damaged part. I will be pretty pissed if they don't.

i dont think going full turbo back and mani is the best idea before getting an ap. im boost cutting now with front mount, intake, downpipe

do you feel like you lost any power with FMIC?

I don't know, its tough to tell. like I said, I've definitely stopped spiking as high as I used to, which actually makes me feel a little better about raising the boost. the other day it was raining and I pegged the gas in 3rd and lost all traction, which has never happened before. I did put the turbo inlet on at the same time, so who knows what happened. I won't know until I go to the track again and run it. I refuse to guess at the power difference with my "butt dyno." the only thing that I do notice is that it is building boost a little slower, doesn't spike as high, and the charge temps appear to be slightly lower according to my dash hawk. We'll know the results next week hopefully!

Looks like you're missing a clamp on the inlet side of the coupler by the COBB logo.

looks like it, doesn't it.
I guess if you knew anything at all about what you were speaking of you'd know better ;)

That's not really necessary. Instead of being a jag about it why not inform him?

well, because he was a "jag" about it instead of asking why there wasn't a clamp.
What the heck is a "jag" anyway?
Also, if you'll notice, I did put a winking smiley after my statement, which was a nice gesture I thought.
