for info check with BEGi group out of Spring TX the do install and tune and have a 170$ off special this month, so 629$ with harness not a bad deal, the xede has dual map set up with ability to change map on the fly and meth injection control as well will soon have a wide band intergration. Dont really know output numbers anyone running the Xede with dyno? Theres the URL they have a few other parts there to.

I have installed and tuned the system on a mazdaspeed6 and 3. The base map makes good gains and is a great starting point. You WILL notice a difference after installing it. Nutari had one on his mazdaspeed 3 and it made great power.

Xede is good but I would rather get the CPE standback. More tunable and easier to work with after you learn how it works.

How long does learning the system take though? You're also looking at $300 or so more for the standback (with PnP harness)

**Right now, the plug 'n play harness is not available for the MS3. We anticipate delivery of the PNP patch harness in late 2009. Mazda has not released this connector yet. We have the male connectors, but not the female ones.**

So the $629 is not with the PnP harness. Expect a few hundred more for that when it is available in late 2009

is it programmed to your car/mods from begi? i found a used one from a ms6 forsale for a great price, and from what i understand the unit is universal for ms3 and ms6.

the units are similar. Begi should be able to provide you with info with how you wire it in. If you would like a plug and play harness you can order one from ProtegeGarage.

The unit comes pre-tuned. But it is always best to have it tuned for your car.

will it be ok to run it for a little with the base tune on it until i get a custom tune?

or you could order the PnP harness from us, we make them for the mazdaspeed3 and ours are waterproof
