hi, I purchased a used speed3 (25,000 miles on it) about 4 mouth ago, about 2 days ago I just rev the rpm to 6300-6500 and the car backfired 3 time. i just wanted to know if it's normal for a speed3 to do that or something wrong. it drives like new and has no problem.
thank you

no car should backfire...unless its carb'd or old.... Does it have a aftermarket BOV/BPV

that is close to redline so your prolly bouncing off the rev limiter which isnt the best for the car

anything over 5800rpms is pointless, def keep it under 6k. (screwy)

My car farts a little when the engine is cold and im letting off the gas and the rpms drop. Other than that it shouldn't backfire much.
Saw an SRT 4 the other day take off from a light. Holy shiat talk about backfires.
