anyone have painted calipers on their msp's need ideas...

i just need some ideas of what colour to paint my calipers on my 03.5 titanium grey metallic msp and i am laso putting mazdaspeed decals on the calipers. if you could post pics of your calipers it would be greatly appreciated thnx.

if u wanna be unique, maybe some blue or yellow. Maybe even mix and match, brace one color, piston another

red is a very classy color to go with. makes your calipers look like they're really high performance like on a porsche or something hahah.

You should find a color that matches the titanium gray if possible but otherwise, silver or black are the best IMO. Red looks good on a spicy but not on other MSP colors IMO

I agree I think he meant the rotor hats and not the actual braking surface.

If you paint the rotor its self where the pad actually contacts the rotor it will be fine lol i dont know why you would want to because it will be gone as soon as you hit the brakes but i know no ones is thinking about doing that but when i painted my rotors and calipers i just sat the rotors on the ground and went to town with the high heat paint, i did not try to paint the contacted surface but it was hit when i was spraying the hub of the rotor.

You are correct sir. I meant the rotor hubs/hats but neglected the last as my hunt & peck skills on a keyboard suck! (smash)

I don't think it's pointless to do the hats ... it stops rusting. I bought premium rotors for the front that has the hats painted black already. looks great and no rust:

I have my Calipers and rotors painted black to match... it looks ok... you cant really tell tho...

The cross drilled rotors I have came with the upgrade option to paint them a bunch of different colors, I didn't think for the cost, it was really going to be seen once the rim was on...and I was right. I think the center section looks more like a piece of the rim with the color I have them
