I think this is going to be my next mod. Its pretty expensive though (300 bucks). Does this make a difference and how hard is it to install??

exactly which TIP is $300? assuming you're talking USD, most are under $200. Ive been thinking about the Cobb TIP myself, would go nice with my cobb SRI and AP.

As stated above, most TIPs are under $200 now. I'm running the HTP 2.5" with my cp-e nano and love the improved throttle response and gains I noticed on my butt dyno. Really any inlet you go with will be a big improvement over stock and if you were wondering how the installation goes you can check out Bova's writeup in the how-to section (taking out the stocker is really similar to removing the old aftermarket one he was running). Installation took me about 2 hours because I kept dropping my 10mm socket in awkward places and took some beer brakes.

Ya, I think it's worth it as well ... better throttle response/torquier feeling.

Yeah, it's worth it, but don't spend more than $200 on either the CP-E or Cobb. Installation is easy, just take your time and it's pretty much self explanatory.

You could prolly pick one of the older aluminum ones up on flea bay for under 150 cause everyone is replacing thiers with the new ones.

Yeah I just saw that very well written "how-to." Install seems simple enough.

Tuner I noticed on the other thread you threw some cel's. Were those resolved / has anyone else had cel issues?

I just found some cheaper inlets which was nice to see. 300 bucks was kinda pricey for the brand I found.

Thanks for your help guys.

As I posted in the other thread, those CELs were not directly related to this. I have seen them before, and they were caused by a wet filter element on my CAI. The inlet is well worth it though.
