I wanted to share our 5 that we're using for company promotional purposes. It's a 08 Touring that I bought originally as a warehouse hauler for my company, because it was so versatile with the large flat cargo area that could be quickly flipped back to passenger hauling duty. and the fuel economy meant it was so much more practical than our Honda Odyssey. I liked the way the 5 drove so much, I ended up personally using it as a daily commuter for many months.
Well, we came up with a great idea to use the 5 as a promotional tool at trade shows, for retail promotions, and also to give the company a bit more exposure while on delivery runs. I got the idea from the 5's that Mazda loaned to Quicksilver who promptly used them for promotions.
And I like the 5 so much, we ended up dumping the Odyssey and getting a second one (09 sport)!! So if you see these zipping around Southern California, give us a wave ;)

That is one Mazda5 that is hard to miss! I'll keep my eyes open for it.
Wow, that is a nice job! Is that a wrap over the paint, or is that a new paintjob? Did you do it in-house or outsource it?

it's a 3M vinyl that is printed on with a big plotter type printer. that is then affixed to the car like a big sticker. it goes over the paint and actually protects the paint underneath. pretty durable too; we run it through automatic car washes. should last about two years.
we had it done by a vendor who specializes in large format prints and car wraps.

Looks great, and VERY colorful.
I am curious though how much something like this would cost?

How much did it add to the weight?

this full vehicle wrap, including side windows and rear window with the perforated wrap, costs $2,500 per car, which in my mind is half the price of a full color one page ad in the industry trade magazine. i've heard of people wrapping their car just to change colors, then peeling it off after a year or so back to the original. cheaper than painting the car twice i guess.
don't know how much weight it adds, but good question. more applicable to the last car i had wrapped. i should make you an honorary colin chapman club member ;)

It's probably more effective advertisement than an ad in a magazine too...
(I know it caught my eye, since afterwards I googled your company name)

Very nice looking, reminds me of the Quiksilver designs back in 06 and this one attached. I found it while browsing the other day, not as nice though
