I drive with my windows and sunroof open alot. I like that you can hold down the unlock button and the windows open, and I LOVE how the sunroof closes when you turn off the ignition. But is there anyway to set it up so the windows close with it also? Or hold the lock button and have the windows roll up automatically?

What?? Since when? I'm 99% sure mine doesn't do that.

Mine does it every time I get out of the car.

Mine definitely doesn't do that. My wife constantly leaves the sunroof open overnight. I wish mine did that.

So I guess no one knows how to do this then if most cars don't have that feature.

if you have the smart key, with the key in the credit card... take the key out, insert it in the drivers door, and turn clockwise to lock the doors. Hold it there, and the windows will come up. BUT... they don't auto-up. You have to hold the key in the locked position until they come the whole way up.
I was a bit disappointed when I realized that the lock key didn't close everything myself. Seemed as if you could open everything with one and close with the other.... but no dice...
Edit: This probably works with other keys as well, but I can only vouch for the credit card key.

On my MS6 GT, I can hold the outside button to roll up the windows.

Didn't know that one. I'll have to give that a try. Does it work on the sunroof too?

I just tried it and it doesn't close the sunroof. Damn.
Awesome info though SteveJ! Thanks!

Pardon my ignorance but what is the outside button? I don't have the smart key just use regular keys with a fob.
Now I'm starting to wonder why my car is the only one that has the sunroof close when I shut it off. Does anyone else's car do that?

outside button for those w/ the smart key. it's a small black button on the passanger and drivers door handle.
i'm guessing it will work w/ the trunk button as well?

okay so i have a 06 ms6 gt with the credit card key....
windows open all 4 wen u press unlock twice and hold it.
and you close all 4 windows with taking the key out and holding in in lock in your key hole in the door and all 4 windows close

I wish the Mazda3's did this...that is one thing that I love Hondas and Acuras for. But Honda doesn't open/close the sunroof like Acuras do.

Or you can just hold the button on the driver's side door handle as I mentioned before. IMHO it's easier than taking the key out of the credit card.

there are aftermarket window roll-up modules that you can get, that will close windows once you arm the alarm. they can also be wired to open/close the roof
