I just painted my rims black, let me know what you think. My car is kinda dirty in the pics and i dont want to wash it yet but i will get some better pictures up later. I think im gonna paint my brakes red next weekend too.

hmm imho a lighter grey would do the car more justice, and stock height MS6's uhhgghh :p
or black side/rear markers and nightshade the tail lights.... that might work...

I also would have left the Mazda logo silver.
I'm still hesitating of painting mine black as well. I believe that black on black looks better, but still, I'm not convinced. What I hate about black wheels is the contrast with the "grey" tires when they're not clean and shiny, with that wet look.

+1 on leaving the logo silver. I powdercoated my stocks black and left the logo silver and kind of make the rims stand out a little more. but yours looks good to.

i would def go for a flat black/charcoal, i wouldn't want my rims darker than my tires or trim. also, get black lugs!

I'm thinking a satin black powdercoat for mine, when I get a spare set of wheels for a week or so. For those of you painting the center caps, are you just masking off the 'M'?

For some reason MS6 rims (which I now have on my speed3) look odd any darker than gray or gun metal. Good paint job though.
Kind of like my black stock MS3 rims on a MS6. Just didnt look right.

When I painted my center caps, I popped off the chrome M part. You have to be careful because they're not the easiest thing to remove. I ended up breaking 1 tab on 2 of the center caps. It still worked out because the 3 other tabs held the M on tight. GL.

These pics show the one time in the lifetime of the car when the rims are clean and the rest of the car is dirty. I will post some pics when both are clean and both are dirty and see what everyone thinks. Also, i blacked out the emblems and they are the same black as the rims so i think that looks good. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and if i just made everyone dislike black rims on a silver car then at least my car will be origional! lol

yeah man the lack of cleaness is killing it. shine it up and it'll look way better prolly.
