Can anyone please shed some light on how to remove the rear tail light for our Mazda5? I have done a search and there is no instructions or advise. Your help is greatly appreciated.

2006-2008 (non-LED)

Raise the hatch, pry two plastic covers (one on top one on bottom) of inner tailight assembly (black plastic part), remove both screws, pull gently and carefully towards you and....voila!

We had our tails removed this weekend - just to see if we could break the seals similar to the headlights - smoked tails anyone?(hippy)

why don't you just go to any tint shop and get it tinted?

Yeah, they are plastic welded...not something you would want to try...I am in the process of breaking open an extra set I have....I am using a dremel to carefully cut around the seal....hope it works but so far its a big pain in the ass...if you're patient it seems possible...but I don't think it was a good idea...to far into it to give up...so now I just gotta grin and bare it.....(bike)
