Hello All-
New to the site. Just got an 06 Mazda5 and am dying to get my iPod integrated. I've done a ton of research and am between Audiolink's version at the RPM store, or the DICE version. Any recommendations? I have a 5th gen iPod.

Also, any recommendations/instructions on the best way to pull off the head unit without damaging anything?

TIA

I bought a Dice model for my 2005 F-150 and it has worked well for me. Luckily, I have an 08 M5, so it already has the input. As far as the radio goes, On the 08 you have the remove the center console and the shifter bezel to get the radio out. I would assume the different 06 design is similar.

aazsiha - I've used an Audiolink for both my Mazda 3 & CX-7, the latter of which I just turned in. Highly recommend the product, and RPM is a great to purchase from.

I just purchased an '09 GT on Saturday, and would like to integrate the Audiolink so as to have the charge & steering wheel control functionality (vs. the aux input). Has anyone done this & are there any links to step-by-step walk-throughs on the HU removal? There are great ones for the 3, but I haven't bumped into any for the 5.

Buy a new head unit from Crutchfield, one that comes with iPod support.
