People still break dance??? I remember break dancing in germany in the 80' when we were stationed there since my father was in the US Army. I wore Adidas gear and carried a piece of cardboard because there could be a challege at anytime...the good old day's.

yup, breakdancing is actually bigger now than it was in the 80's. It has evolved just like skateboarding, BMX,etc (meaning the tricks are more technical and mind blowing). The stuff being done now is rediculous. Youtube breakdancing championship battles if you want to see for yourself. INSANITY!

i wouldnt say its nearly as big as it was in the 80s. its just that it crosses slightly more demographics but i disagree more people breakdance these days than in the 80's -no where close
but breaking is pretty popular here in orlando

well, maybe not more here, but globally it is very big. The Koreans are dominating right now.....Korea....Korea has breakdancing? Let alone one of the worlds best crews....haha! There are world championships for this. It may have been bigger in the 80's but, i think it is still huge.:)
Your good for learning for 6 months, keep it up. Just need to get smoother. And breakin is actually quite big now and is reaching to the point of how big it was in the 80's. Remember those 80's movies...Breakin' series and Wild Style...classics. And those Korean teams (also the Japanese) are so good, they have some much speed and style. Its ridiculous, they have been winning Battle of the Year.
