a header won't fit both a 1.6L and a 1.8L engine as they are completely different...

actually 1.6/1.8 are interchangeable for exhaust manifolds, difference is the bore of the block and dispacement only.. its the same as the v8 chevys... 305/350 exhausts can be interchanged.. only difference in the motor is the bore..

You're thinking 1.8 and 2.0 which are both FS engines...the 1.6 is a ZM-DE AFAIK ;)

yeah i believe also that the FS has a 10stud setup holding the manifold on where as the 1.6 has a 8 stud setup such as the header pictured. so yes this is the 1.6 OBX header or atleast appears to be the OBX one, i dont think thunder looks like this and i dont believe there is another company for the 1.6

Actually, it was the ZM-DE...
But your other comment is correct. The 1.6L and 1.8L are completely different
and the exhaust manifolds are not interchangeable.
That's not a Thunder header, the Thunders are two-piece.

^Thanks for the clarification, and good call from the previous poster on the amount of bolts as that is by far the clearest indication since the FS-DE IS a 10 bolt/stud design...

the box said 1.6/1.8L but i have the mp3 which is 2.0L so yeah i am guessing it is for the 1.6L then.

No, the P5 axle-back portion is shorter.

No, the P5 axle-back portion is shorter.
You can make it fit. Just have to cut 4-6 inches off the tip and it fits fine.
