Knock with new setup

Stage1+SF 93 Octane V103 on my 09 MS3 with the Cobb SRI, and seeing KR at WOT. During this run I actual heard the pinging. Any permanent damage done? What should I do?

I would think no damage has bee done but stop going wot until you get new plugs.

Could be a bad tank of gas. When I first switched over to the 93-octane maps, I made sure to run a couple of tanks first to ensure I only had 93 in the tank before I went WOT.

I am seeing a knock of 1-2 when i go WOT from 2k in 3rd and 4th gear. Should i get new plugs?
And what kind should i get? and does it effect anything else

new plugs and meth and your know will be at 0

you should not run the ap without one-step colder plugs (denso itv-22 work best) and you should not load up your car from below 3k rpm.

Alright solved, I just ordered the new plugs, i needed to install something anyways, because i was getting board.

How many miles did you have on this map when you made the logs?

Just did a 3rd gear run and everything looks fine.
Car runs like a raped ape.

what elevation you at? What ambient temp?

100-150 miles on the map, 1000ft elevation, 70 degrees F. I just put in the denso's tonight and reset the ecu. We'll see if it fixes it. I'm in the process of replacing the shitty factory clamps all around as well.

You could try running the 91 octane version of that map and keep using 93.. the difference is only a few hp anyway
