Have been trying to find a pioneer avic z1/z2 for a good price, pissed that I didn't have the bread when someone locally was selling a z1 for $500 but oh well.

So my question is whether anyone has experience with the kenwood dnx 7100 and ddx 7015? Which is better as well as pros and cons

IMHO, stick with at least teh kenwood... pioneers are easier to use, but the navi sucks... kenwoods got the ill garmin hook-up, and the 8120 that dude has has built in bluetooth and all the what whats...

DNX has built in nav, DDX does not. At a quick glance, the DNX7100 looks to be pretty old... the 7120 & 8120 are more recent. The biggest difference, other than price, between the 7120 & 8120 is that the 8120 has built in Bluetooth, BT on the 7120 is an add-on.

Unless you just have a boner for the 6.95" screen, consider the 5120? In either case, I'd suggest looking into one of the x120 models. You can get refurb'd 7120's on eBay for $600-700, 5120's less than $400.
