Mazda has mailed a recall for some 09 6s as a door can pop open while driving.
Anyone dealt with this yet or had it happen

Had mine done. No problem found. It's an inspection mainly. Most of the cars won't have a problem, but they have to put out a blanket recall anyway.

Had mine done a couple of weeks ago. Took about 30 minutes - more time was taken on a wind noise at the driver's window.
They are looking for clearances on certain parts, and there's a "special tool" they use to measure it with.

Nothing came up when they checked mine.
I was told that the door could come open when it appears to be shut :o

Had mine done this afternoon - no issues here either.
Wondering though - the doors don't lock automatically after you put the car into drive and unlock when you go back to park. Another rep in my company who recently picked up his 6 mentioned the same thing. Neither of us have the smart key with the push start, just the normal key system.
Is there a setting you can do yourself to make this happen, or is this something the dealer can do? I haven't been through the manual since picking up the car, but I recall some things can be set through the dash controls, and there were some settings that only the dealer could set for you.
A couple of months ago, I brought the car in to the dealer for the recall on the door handles. Everything seemed fine before, and everything seemed fine after.
In the last month, I've had an issue occur on 2 occasions. When driving on the highway, the "door-ajar warning light" would just come on (as well as the cabin light) for a second or two. Today for instance, it came on twice, maybe 3-4 minutes apart. Last time, it came on about 4-5 times and different intervals. Both times I was on the highway driving at speeds of maybe 50-60 mph.
Any ideas as to whether or not this recall has anything to do with this? Or any ideas as to what the problem might be? I'm reluctant to bring it back to the dealer as they probably won't be able to reproduce the problem...
