Hey all,

well I finally need a new ebrake cable - just can't be retightened anymore. Do these things have to be purchased at Mazda or do other places like Napa sell them? Also, should all the cables be replaced or just the ones that go to the rear calipers?

Thanks!

You probably will not find an e-brake cable at NAPA, go to a dealer. There are no cables going to the front calipers, they do have brake fluid tubing and flex hoses. No nedd to worry about them if your e-brake is the only problem you have.

Hey,

Thanks. What I meant was there is a separate cable going from the handbrake to a part where the rear ebrake cables are joined to and then they go to the rear calipers. I was wondering if all three had to be replaced or just the ones going to the calipers.

Turns out that only the two from the calipers need to get replaced.

Thanks!
