Ok, so I have a nice set of tower 2 LED's for the driving lights, the stock HID bulbs (the two are close) and a pure white led log lights. The highbreams however are a sour not on the front lights. Have there been users who have exchanged the stock High-beams with something more related to the HID look / 6k through 8k? If so, sources and recommended lights would go a long way for me. Thanks

So by your silence, nobody has replaced the stock high beams with something whiter.

Hoen Xenonmatch would be my suggestions. High beams aren't used enough for me to justify buying new bulbs though.

I've done some looking into this, and there are several bulbs on the market that will do the trick.
Basically you're looking for a 5-6K bulb (anything higher is blue, like your driving LED's) if you want to match. You can get "performance" bulbs if you like (read: bulbs that with overpowered filament that wears out faster) because they're high beams and not used often.
Its very very difficult to find actual legitimate information on bulbs. If I may speak frankly, it's because a lot of idiots spend big bucks on bulbs, and meaningless adjectives have become the selling tools instead of Lumens, Color temperature, Lifespan, Beam angle and Wattage.
So when I look at a maunfacturer's choices, I am faced with such crap as "Super White" "Ultra White", "Cool White", "Centra Silver Plus Super", Ultra Plasma" and so much more obfuscating trash.
I would like to do a thorough comparison of the top few bulbs, but that would mean finding a retailer with good returns.
Regardless, I'll post back tomorrow with my Top-5 list that I've narrowed down
