So, I had a twin stripe painted onto my plastic valve cover cover. With the OBX manifold, it heatesd up and the paint started to bubble and boil off the surface. I spent most of the day just sanding to prepare for the repainting of it, and this is how it came out. The pic can't do it any justice, but it kinda looks like a crumbling wall with minor graffitti on it.

So, I guess, keep it or repaint it?

get rid of it. just paint the valve cover and keep the plastic shit off of it. in my opinion, i think plastic covers in the engine bay look cheap.
