Yes, Mugen ALSO proposed some nice kits for Honda's latest hybrid wonder. NO this kit doesn't include any mechanical parts to boost the Insight, that makes some sense because the ultimate goal behind the concept of a hybrid car is to lower consumption. Mugen completely reworked the Insight Cd (Coefficient Drag) to offer the minimum resistance possible and to ultimately give the Insight a better MPG ratio…

Coming from another Japanese tuner might make you wonder if this will really effects the Insight's MPG, but we're not talking about your AVERAGE tuner. We're talking about Mugen with YEARS of knowledge and experience in the racing world, if they announced their kit will drastically improve Insight Cd we should believe them.

Does it add an additional 6k to the sticker with no additional HP or MPG? those Mugen Civics were a scam!

I really doubt that they could lower the CD more than Honda already did. But they know that no consumer could possibly check it or detect a difference, so it's all in the marketing.

how can it be BS? honda had to work on compromises... they had to meet new car ride height standards, also have enough ground clearance, and keep costs minimal.... with that in mind, there's always a bit of room for improvement!

It could show up in the MPG numbers.
