Are you talking parts & labor, or just labor?

you should probably replace both sides so they wear evenly...

replace both rotors ! if you replace only one then the clamping force is going to make the car pull hard when braking. i repeat it is a must to replace both rotors at the same time. replacing only one can cause some serious control issues under emergency/hard braking.

Thank you guys for the advise... I just got my brakes changed. Brakes and labor cost me $115.00 dollars at a shop. I think thats a sweet price.

How many miles are people getting on their front pads? I heard my brakes squeaking today, I've only got 17,000 miles and I am not hard on brakes. Hell, on my Contour it was over 100,000 miles before I needed brakes.

Squeaky ≠ worn out
That being said, I only got a little over 15K out of my front pads, but I track my car, and I would expect them to last substantially longer under "normal" conditions...

I can't put up with squeaky brakes, the pads might wind up getting replaced early if they keep it up!
