This show isn't as big as some of the others, but there are over 1500 cars. The Mazda crowd brings the innocent fun with our BBQ festivities. Other makes, well... they sometimes bring trouble, but we have a good time none the less.

That's another thing: If you register your car, you can throw the cooler in the trunk and just drive in :)

Found one in TX with 51,000 miles on it:


Condition: This is a 1 adult owner, non-smoker, meticulously cared for 2003.5 Titanium Mazdaspeed Protégé (1 of 1100 produced and last year they made them) with only 51K miles on the speedo. I did a search on Cars.com last night to benchmark pricing and this car is the lowest mileage MSP that comes up via national search. No wrecks, no body work, no internal engine work,etc. I have run synthetic since I got the car new from Town North Mazda, Dallas Texas.

Cross your fingers for me. Last one I looked up had already sold... :(

Oh, we usually have something going on at the hotel, but like... you gotta be really careful because cops are out in full force and don't give a shit what kind of excuse you give them. So, it's easier to not give them a reason to come to you. But it is a lot of fun watching them bust ricers.

I'm happy with my 200D (XTi) I just need to get a good long lens before the air race. My 55-275 IS is good, as is my kit 70-300, but not sure if that's gonna be long enough and good enough quality for the shots there.
